CineFx: A free alternative to Adobe After Effects

Have you ever wanted to add a cool effect to a home video, or even a presentation for work? For the pros, Adobe After Effects is the app of choice, but for the rest of us there is CineFx (free, cinefx.org). CineFx is an open source video editor that helps you add special effects.

Note: CineFx was formerly known as Jahshaka, but it is a newer version.

I also heard that wax 2.0 is a very good program for that kind of thing. I’m not sure if there is a Mac compatible version but I thought I heard also that you could do some things so it would work on a mac. Anyway, thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion! I could not figure out how to use it on a Mac, but it looks like a great Windows app. You can download it @ debugmode.com/wax
